26th Oct (Thu): Morning flight to Mumbai: Transfer to hotel: Overnight Bombay: 5 Star Hotel . 27th Oct (Fri): Mumbai – Udaipur: Early morning transfer to airport for domestic flight to Udaipur. Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, drive around Sahelion ki Bari (queen's resort for her friends), Fateh sagar Lake and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum). Evening enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola. (If there is water in the lake) Overnight Udaipur: First Class Hotel. 28th Oct (Sat): Udaipur – Luni: Depart for Luni, enroute stop at Ranakpur to visit the beautiful Jain Temples. Overnight: Heritage Hotel (2 nights). 29th Oct (Sun): Jodhpur: Depart for sightseeing of Jodhpur visiting the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill, including Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Visit Jaswant Thada an imposing marble memorium built in 1899. Return to Luni. Afternoon leave by Jeeps for Safari to the nearby Bishnoi Villages and sand dunes. 30th Oct (Mon): Luni – Jaisalmer: Depart for Jaisalmer via Osiyan. Overnight: 5 Star Hotel. 31st Oct (Tue): Jaisalmer: Explore Jaisalmer , a town built from sandstone bewteen 12th and 15th century, is an intricately moulded wonderland. Every house has exquisite carvings and filigree work. 01st Nov (Wed): Jaisalmer – Bikaner: Drive through the Thar Desert for Bikaner en-route visit Pokharan. Evening visit Junagarh Fort. Overnight: Tourist Class Hotel. 02nd Nov (Thu): Bikaner – Pushkar: Depart for Pushkar enroute visit Deshnoke Temple and Nagaur Fort. Arrive at Pushkar amidst the Pushkar Fair. Settle down in your Swiss Cottage Tents. Evening walk around and visit the fair grounds . Dinner and overnight in Tents ( High Standard tents with adjoining private toilet) Note: Limited number of tents for singles! 03rd Nov (Fri): Pushkar – Amber – Jaipur: After breakfast re-visit the Fair Grounds. Return to Camp for lunch. Later leave for Jaipur. Jaipur – The capital city of the state of Rajasthan is popularly known as "Pink City". The buildings in the old walled city are constructed in pink-coloured sandstone. Overnight: First Class Hotel. (2 nights) 04th Nov (Sat): Jaipur: Excursion to Amber Fort, enroute photo stop at “Hawa Mahal” - The Palace of Winds which is a landmark of Jaipur made of pink sandstone and of unique design. Arrive at Amber, enjoy elephant ride up the hill on which the Amber Fort is situated. Return to Jaipur. Afternoon City tour which will include City Palace which now houses a museum containing rare manuscripts, paintings and an armoury. Also visit the observatory built in the 17th century by Jai Singh with a sun dial 90 ft. high and more. 05th Nov (Sun): Jaipur – Agra: Drive to Agra en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri built by emperor Akbar in 1569 and later abandoned due to scarcity of water. This deserted city of Emperor Akbar literally means "The city of victory". The audience halls, palaces and the mosques are still in a state of perfection as are the Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti, Panchmahal and the Buland Darwaza. Proceed to Agra, arrive and Visit the world famous Taj Mahal. Overnight: 5 Star Hotel . 06th Nov (Mon): Agra - Jhansi – Khajuraho: Early morning transfer to Agra Cantt railway station to board train for Jhansi . On arrival in Jhansi, proceed to Khajuraho en-route visit Orchha. Overnight: 5 Star Hotel. 07th Nov (Tue): Khajuraho – Varanasi: Tour of Khajuraho visiting eastern & western group of temples. These temples are superb example of Indo-Aryan architecture constructed by Chandela rulers in the 10th century A.D. they have a fantastic range of sculptures including sensuous and erotic themes north block temples. Later transfer to airport for flight to Varanasi. On arrival proceed straight to Sarnath where lord Buddha is said to have preached his first sermon. Sarnath was a famous centre for buddhist learning from the 6th-12th Century. Visit to the stupa and buddhist temple the interior of which Is richly decorated. Return to Varanasi for overnight: 5 Star Hotel. 08th Nov (Wed): Varanasi – Delhi: Very early morning (at Sunrise) leave for boat excursion on the holy River Ganges to see the sunrise and morning prayers. Also see bathing ghats & cremation site. Watch people bathing & worshipping at the ghats which is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India. Enroute visiting the small lanes and temples near the ghats. Transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Overnight: 5 Star Hotel. 09th Nov (Thu): Delhi: Tour of Old & New Delhi – Visit Rajghat & Shanti Vana (the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru), Jama Masjid and drive past Red fort and Chandni, Also visit Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, India gate (war memorial), Lakshminarayan Temple – a modern Hindu temple, drive past President's House, Parliament House & Secretariat Building. Afternoon flight to Mumbai. To connect with flight to Tel Aviv . 10th Nov (Fri): Ben Gurion Airport: Morning arrival.
