נולד: 23 בינואר 1949 בפמגוסטה באיי
קפריסין.
אבא יווני קפריסאי,
אנדריאס, אמא יהודיה ילידת ברלין דיזי (חנה) , עכשיו
חייה בארה"ב. אלכס חיי בקפריסין 3 שנים, אנגליה
8 שנים, קנדה 3 שנים וכל יתר השנים חיי בארץ. עלה בשנת 1961 ארצה במסגרת "עלית
הנוער" מאנגליה. גר בחוות הנוער הציוני ע"ש דר' ישראל גולדשטיין בקטמון ירושלים.
המשיך את לימודיו ב"אורט" נתניה שם למד מלונאות. 1967 - 1970 חיי
במונטריאול שבקנדה בו למד בנקאות וניהול עסקים. חזר לארץ לשרת בצה"ל 1970 - 1973 .
מדריך תיירים מוסמך מ- 1972. שרת במועצת העיר נתניה 1988 - 1992 מטעם רצ (מרצ),
סגן ראש העיר 1993 - 1995 החזיק בתיק איכות הסביבה ורישוי עסקים.
בשנת 1996 פרש ממועצת העיר ומפוליטקה . ב- 1996 חזר להדרכת תיירים
ולענף התיירות.
בשנת 1997 פתח אלכס פייט יחד עם
חברו יאיר דוריון את החברה " אלכס פייט טיולים בסגנון אחר".
משנת 1997 ועד היום למעלה מ- 1300 נוסעות ונוסעים לקחו חלק בכ- 90 טיולים
שונים מסביב לעולם, שכללו את: ירדן, קפריסין,יוון, כרתים, מצרים, אוזבקיסטאן, טורקמניסטאן,
טג'יקיסטאן, קירגיסטאן, קאזחסטאן ("דרך המשי"), גרוזיה, ארמניה, אזרבייג'אן,
איסטנבול, אומבריה וטוסקנה באיטליה, צפון ספרד, דרום מזרח אסיה – בורמה, קמבודיה,
וייטנאם, הודו, קובה, מאלי. איתיופיה , ורוסיה ועוד. מעודכן ליום
דצמבר 2010 .
