To a Cypriot-Greek Orthodox father Andreas Tsangaras, and a Jewish-German mother Daisy Veit ( Now Cohen living in USA).

Lived in Cyprus 3 years,  England 8 years, Canada 3 years  and all the rest in Israel.

Made "Aliyah" (immigrated from England to Israel) with the "Youth Aliyah" in 1961.Lived on Havat Nanoar Hazioni- Dr Israel Goldstein- youth village in Katamon, Jerusalem. Continued studying at "Ort" Natanya. 1967-1970 Lived in Montreal, Canada. 1972 - till to date: Official Israeli tourist guide. Served at the city council of Natanya 1988-1992 (Israel Democratic Party-Meretz Led by Mrs Shulamit Aloni). Deputy Mayor of Natanya 1993-1995 in charge of ecology and business licensing. 1996 resigned from the city council and politics. July 1996 returned to full time guiding and the tourist trade.

1997  Alex opened up Alex Veit Personalized Group Tours Around The World, since then over 1500 people have traveled on 78 different  tours around the world: Jordan,  Cyprus, Greece, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, ("Silk Road"), Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Istanbul, Umbria and Tuscany, "South East Asia", Burma, Cambodia, Vietnam, Greece, Russia, Cuba (Updated: 1 August 2004)

2. Employed by " Foreign Tours" (owned by El-Al airlines) November 1975 till December 1985, when company was closed down.
